As an owner-managed enterprise, the company is founded in Cologne under the name Interlit Joistgen GmbH. We first focused more on service in the coolant sector than on plant construction. The sale and marketing of all types of hydraulic pumps was our core business. Which explains our name: Interlit stands for International Liquid Transportation. Interlit Joistgen GmbH still cooperated with steel construction companies from the Cologne area for its first own products in plant construction.
After the successful development and the sale of own filter systems, the year 1990 was marked by expansion. It was now necessary to establish an own production plant in order to respond to increasing demand and different customer requirements. The Maschinen- und Stahlbau GmbH (MSG) in Joachimsthal was acquired as a reliable cooperation partner and 100% subsidiary, so that from now on customer orders could be processed from the inquiry to the finished product under "one roof." Since then we are represented at today's still current locations in Cologne and Joachimsthal.
As an established manufacturer of cooling lubricant systems and chip conveyors, Interlit Joistgen GmbH was added to the product portfolio of Bosch Rexroth AG. Initially, the somewhat cumbersome names Bosch Rexroth Interlit Systems GmbH for Cologne and Bosch Rexroth Interlit Production GmbH for Joachimsthal applied until both were merged into Bosch Rexroth Interlit GmbH by the end of 2009. As a 100% subsidiary, we now complemented the systems business of Bosch Rexroth AG in the field of mechanical and plant engineering.
With the takeover of the company by the main shareholders of the Hydraulik Nord Group, we are once more starting out as an independent medium-sized GmbH under the name Interlit Filtration GmbH and concentrating on what we have always done best: customer-specific solutions for cooling lubricant systems and individual service.
